Studio Suites ranging up to 72 square metres. 299 guest rooms, spread over 6
storeys surrounding the hotel's central atrium, each with an outside view or
opening onto the enormous central Winter Garden.
All rooms are equipped with a desk, private bar, satellite colour television
and the hotel's own on-command video system, multi-channel radio, dual-line
IDD telephones with extensions at the bedside, bath and desk. All rooms have
the latest Innfax systems which allows guests to have a personal facsimile
number in their own room. All rooms feature high-speed Internet access and
voicemail. Each room has a marble bathroom with separate power shower.
Towelling robes and hairdryer are provided.
Situated at the base of a magnificent
eight-storey glass atrium at the centre of the hotel, The Winter Garden is a
natural meeting place for guests and visitors alike. The menu features light
and modern dishes determined by the availability of the freshest
ingredients. Enjoy morning coffee and pastries or choose from the day dining
menu. In the afternoon, The Winter Garden is the most idyllic place in
London to enjoy a traditional, afternoon English tea served to the sounds of
live and easy listening music. Favourites such as scones with Devon clotted
cream, cucumber and smoked salmon sandwiches and a range of 20 types of tea
will be on offer. In the evening, an extensive list of premium wines and
champagnes by the glass or bottle make The Winter Garden a popular meeting

The Cellars Bar is located on the basement
level and accessible from either The Winter Garden or Great Central Street.
This beautiful bar was formerly the billiards room of The Great Central
Hotel and retains many of the original architectural features which give it
its unique style. The re-stained wood panelling, fabulous carved Adam-style
fireplace and intricate plasterwork ceiling, create an inviting and warm
atmosphere. The Cellars Bar offers a choice of traditional English fare and
light snacks at lunchtime and an array of appetisers during the evening, all
at reasonable prices. The bar serves a range of beers, spirits and a wide
variety of wines sold by the glass from the hotel's excellent wine cellar.
After 13 years as Chef Patron of the
famous two-starred Michelin Guide L'Ortolan restaurant in Reading, John has
achieved his lifelong ambition of opening his own restaurant in London.
Situated on the ground floor of the hotel, John Burton-Race at The Landmark
combines splendid surroundings and ambience with his own special style of
fine dining cuisine For a quiet haven away from the stress of everyday life,
